Vertigo XG Configuration Procedures and Schemas
Dual Channel SD/HD Configuration Settings - Fill and Key, Input
and Output
The tables below provide you with a quick reference of the basic Vertigo XG device settings
for a scenario with the following characteristics:
• Number of devices: 2 Vertigo XGs (1 = SD, 1 = HD)
• Resolution format: SD device = NTSC, HD device = 1080i30M
(Note: The SD and HD formats selected must have compatible frame rates.)
• Input: Fill only
• Output: Fill and key
• Number of channels: 2
(HD Device: A = I/O Fill, C = output Key)
(SD Device: B = I/O Fill, D = output Key)
This dual channel configuration requires that you create one configuration schema for each
device. Therefore, in this example “HD device” refers to the device configured for the HD
signal and “SD device” for the device configured for the SD signal.
NOTE
The schemas presented in this section are generic and demonstrate possible minimal
settings based on the specified profiles. Only the indicated settings are relevant to the
profile, and all other parameters are meant to be set to their factory default state. These
schemas are for demonstration purposes only. Be sure to configure your Vertigo XG device
based on all of your specific rendering needs. See “
Device Settings Tab and Pages” on
page 4-12 for more information about the Vertigo XG device settings.
