Step 5 – System Verification
To perform a system verification, do the following:
You can check internal system statuses via the web-based XAdmin application. There are two ways to
access XAdmin:
1. Method 1: Use XEdit on a client PC to start the XAdmin application (see “Step 4 – XEdit Installation” on
page 19). Start Xedit and select the “Use XAdmin” option in the Configure drop-down menu (look in
the upper menu bar). This will start your default web browser.
Method 2: Open a web browser on the client PC and type the following:
http://AAA.BBB.C.DDD/
where AAA.BBB.C.DDD is the Frame IP address of the Kaleido-X.
Example:
http://10.0.3.70/
A login screen appears.
2. Type “admin” in the User Name field. Leave the password field blank, and press Enter.
The XAdmin welcome page appears.
3. From the XAdmin welcome page, select Status and options.
